After writing a book like Breakfast, Lunch and Diner, in which I recount food stories and anecdotes from 84 restaurants in St. Louis and beyond, I couldn’t just stop there. I knew I had to return to the restaurants from time to time to re-affirm my faith in them. then order some of the memorable food I write about. So last week I traveled to Columbia, Missouri to say hello again to Booche’s Billiard Hall and Broadway Diner and to do some hiking in the nearby woods.
